GREENSBORO, N.C. — A High Point man has been charged after Greensboro police investigated a reported road-rage confrontation on Interstate 85.
Police charged the man with communicating threats after an encounter involving a Greensboro woman who was driving with her child in the vehicle, according to local reports citing Greensboro police.
Video of the confrontation circulated online and became part of the attention surrounding the case. The charge is a misdemeanor.
The incident connects two of the Triad's largest cities and occurred on one of the region's busiest interstate corridors. The charge is an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
