Guilford County Public Safety Career Expo Set for Wednesday in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Guilford County will host a Public Safety Career Expo on Wednesday, Aug. 12, giving job seekers a chance to learn about openings across several county public-safety departments and divisions.

The event is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. at 401 W. Sycamore St. in Greensboro. According to Guilford County, participating areas include Animal Services, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Services, the Sheriff’s Office, the Detention Center, Juvenile Detention and Security.

The county is encouraging interested applicants to review current openings and apply in advance through its career portal. The expo is part of a series of targeted hiring events Guilford County is holding during August.
