WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Wake Forest is giving Demon Deacon fans two opportunities to gather with the football program immediately before the 2026 season opener.
The Coach Jake Dickert Show returns Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Miller's on Robinhood in Winston-Salem. Voice of the Demon Deacons Stan Cotten will join Dickert and select players throughout the season for discussion of recent games, upcoming opponents and program news.
Fans can attend the show in person, listen through the Wake Forest Sports Network — including WBRF 98.1 FM in Winston-Salem — or follow through Wake Forest's social feeds and Gameday App. Wake says attendees can also pick up 2026 schedule posters, schedule cards, DEACTOWN yard signs and other promotional items.
One night later, Wake Forest will hold its free annual WAKE THE DEMONS pep rally at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, on the Quad. The event is scheduled to include the Class of 2030, the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black, spirit squads, student-athletes, Dickert, university president Peter Rodriguez and a fireworks finale.
The back-to-back fan events lead into Wake Forest's Thursday, Sept. 3 home opener against Akron at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium.
