App State Football 2026: TV Times, Game Themes and Ticket Guide

BOONE, N.C. — App State fans can already map out much of the 2026 football season, with several kickoff times and television windows set and the Mountaineers’ home-game themes in place.

The season opens Sept. 5 against Maine at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+ for the Gold Out. App State then visits East Carolina on Sept. 12 at noon on ESPNU before returning to Kidd Brewer Stadium for a Sept. 19 matchup with Charlotte at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. That game is Black Saturday and is being promoted as “Under the Lights.”

Other dates already carrying major fan-service value include the Oct. 10 home game against Old Dominion for Homecoming, an Oct. 16 road trip to Coastal Carolina at 8 p.m. on ESPN2, and an Oct. 22 home game against James Madison at 7 p.m. on ESPNU for Family Weekend. Georgia State visits Nov. 7 for Heroes Day, while the Nov. 21 home finale against ULM is Senior Day.

The regular season is scheduled to close Nov. 27 at South Alabama with a 3 p.m. Eastern kickoff on ESPN+. App State has also announced that season tickets are sold out for a fifth straight year, while single-game tickets went on sale to the public in July. Listed starting prices included $40 for Maine, $75 for Charlotte and James Madison, $60 for Old Dominion, and $50 for Georgia State and ULM.

Kickoff times, inventory and broadcast assignments can still change, so fans should continue checking the official App State Athletics schedule and ticket pages as game week approaches.
