App State FanFest Brings Mountaineer Teams to Kidd Brewer Stadium Saturday

App State fans will get an early look at the Mountaineers’ 2026-27 athletic programs Saturday when the university holds its annual FanFest at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone.

The free event is scheduled for Aug. 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the stadium field. App State says every varsity sports team will be represented, giving fans a chance to interact with football, men’s basketball and other Mountaineer student-athletes and coaches.

FanFest will include posters and autograph opportunities, inflatables and interactive games. Concessions and App State merchandise will also be available during the event.

The event comes three weeks before the football team opens its season at home against Maine on Sept. 5 at 3:30 p.m. App State’s 2026 football slate also includes a Sept. 19 home matchup with Charlotte and a pair of nationally televised Thursday-night Sun Belt games later in the fall.
