WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Wake Forest gets a national-stage ACC test Friday night when the 2-0 Demon Deacons host No. 5 Miami at Allegacy Financial Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. Wake Forest is asking fans to wear black and arrive early for the marquee home matchup.

The school is also planning the first-ever drone show at Allegacy Financial Stadium during halftime. Wake Forest says 20,000 flashlight covers will be distributed at the gates to help create a gold-light effect inside the stadium.

Parking lots open at 2:30 p.m., the student tailgate and DEACTOWN Fan Zone open at 4:30 p.m., Deacon Walk is set for 5:15 p.m., and stadium gates open at 6 p.m. The on-field pregame show begins at 7 p.m.

Wake Forest enters after a 38-36 double-overtime win at Purdue. Miami is also 2-0, setting up an unbeaten-versus-unbeaten ACC matchup under the Friday night lights in Winston-Salem.
