GREENSBORO, N.C. — Chattanooga completed a sweep of the team and individual titles at the Qubein Cup on Tuesday at Sedgefield Country Club, winning by 14 strokes while tournament host High Point finished eighth and Appalachian State placed ninth.
The Mocs shot a final-round 276 to finish at 850, 10 over par for 54 holes on the par-70 course. UTSA was second at 864, followed by UNC Wilmington at 869. Loyola Maryland finished fourth at 872, and Troy rounded out the top five at 874.
High Point, which hosted the event at the Greensboro course, posted rounds of 310, 285 and 301 for a total of 896, 56 over par. Appalachian State finished four strokes behind the Panthers at 900. Both teams faced a strong field featuring programs from across the country.
Chattanooga senior Ward Harris won the individual championship at four under par after shooting a final-round 67. His teammate Evan Rogers finished two strokes back at two under, while Camden Braidech tied for sixth at two over after shooting a five-under 65 in the final round.
The Mocs entered Tuesday with a four-stroke lead and widened it quickly with a series of birdies and an eagle early in the round. They briefly gave shots back at the 10th hole, but Conner Brummitt made a hole-in-one on the 12th, helping the team regain momentum and pull away.
The victory represented a successful defense of Chattanooga's Qubein Cup title from 2024; the tournament was not held in 2025. Harris earned his first collegiate individual victory. The official results list the Mocs as the only team to finish the event within 10 shots of par.
Sedgefield Country Club, known as the longtime site of the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship, provided the stage for High Point's home event. The tournament offered a competitive finish to the fall portion of the Panthers' schedule and brought another multi-team collegiate event to the Triad.
