North Carolina A&T volleyball earned two Coastal Athletic Association weekly awards Monday after sweeping a two-match home series against UNC Wilmington. Junior Agata Zwierzynska was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman setter Kirsten Kemper collected Rookie of the Week honors.

Zwierzynska produced the most productive weekend of her A&T career. She set a personal high with 16 kills and a .520 hitting percentage in Friday's three-set win, then raised her kills record to 17 while hitting .433 in Saturday's four-set victory. Across seven sets, she averaged 4.71 kills and 4.93 points, with a combined .473 hitting percentage.

Kemper directed the offense with 38 assists and seven digs Friday, then added 36 assists and seven digs Saturday. She also recorded two service aces and two blocks in the rematch. Her 38 assists Friday were the second-highest total in a three-set match by a CAA player this season, according to the university.

The two recognitions come after A&T recovered from an 0-4 start to conference play. The Aggies have won four consecutive matches and are 9-10 overall and 4-4 in the CAA. The honors also mark the second straight week an A&T player has received the conference offensive award, following Tyne Ross's recognition the previous week.

A&T travels to Campbell for another conference series, with matches scheduled Friday, October 23, at 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 24, at 4 p.m. The next series will test whether the Aggies can extend their improvement away from Moore Gymnasium.

These individual awards are distinct from the Friday and Saturday game results, which TTN News has already reported separately. No additional win or unplayed score is being implied.
