GREENSBORO — North Carolina A&T volleyball completed a two-match home sweep of UNC Wilmington on Saturday, October 17, defeating the Seahawks in four sets at Moore Gymnasium. The Aggies won 25–17, 17–25, 25–20 and 25–19, following Friday's straight-set victory over the same opponent. The second win pushed A&T's streak to four consecutive matches and returned the team to .500 in Coastal Athletic Association play.

A&T improved to 9–10 overall and 4–4 in the CAA. That represents a notable turnaround after the Aggies opened conference play with four straight losses. UNC Wilmington fell to 10–11 overall and 4–4 in the league, leaving both teams among a cluster competing for conference tournament positioning. The top six CAA teams qualify for the November postseason event.

Junior Agata Zwierzynska built on a career-high 16 kills Friday with a new personal best of 17 on Saturday, hitting .433 in the rematch. She also collected seven digs and three blocks. Her two-match hitting percentage of .473 illustrates the offensive efficiency that helped change A&T's trajectory over the weekend.

The Aggies controlled the first set with a .348 team hitting percentage, but UNC Wilmington answered in the second. The Seahawks used contributions from Lilly Sullivan, Gaby Zovko and Elaina Murphy to level the match while A&T hit only .067 in the frame. The response required A&T to regain its rhythm rather than simply coast through a second home victory.

In the third set, UNCW held a 14–13 advantage before A&T put together an 8–3 run, with Zwierzynska and Tyne Ross combining for important kills. The Seahawks trimmed the gap, but consecutive attack errors helped A&T close the set 25–20 and move ahead 2–1. The fourth set was tied at 15 before the Aggies pulled away with a 5–2 stretch and secured the 25–19 finish.

Ross contributed 15 kills, while Luca Radnai recorded five blocks. Valeria Estrada finished with 16 digs. A&T's balanced defense and late-set execution gave it enough separation to win despite the second-set setback. The Aggies now turn toward a road series at Campbell, beginning Friday, October 23, at 6 p.m. The Saturday result is independently verified by A&T's official match recap and box score.
