NC A&T Faces NC Central in 98th Aggie-Eagle Classic at Noon

DURHAM, N.C. — NC A&T and NC Central renew one of North Carolina’s longest-running college football rivalries Saturday in the 98th Aggie-Eagle Classic.

Kickoff at O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium is set for noon, with the game airing on ESPN+. The start time was moved from 6 p.m. because of the weather forecast.

A&T leads the all-time series 54-38-5, but NC Central has won the last four meetings. The Aggies enter Saturday 0-2 after losses to Morgan State and Georgia State, while the Eagles are 1-1 after a 27-6 win over Elizabeth City State.

The matchup also carries a personal connection for first-year A&T head coach Shawn Gibbs, a North Carolina Central graduate who took over the Aggies program this season.
