Fall High Point Market opened Saturday, October 17, launching five days of furniture, home-furnishings and interior-design business in the city's downtown showroom district. The trade-only event runs through Wednesday, October 21, bringing retailers, designers, manufacturers, exhibitors and media to High Point for product introductions, professional education and buying appointments.
The High Point Market Authority describes an extensive showroom footprint of more than 11.5 million square feet spread across a broad downtown district. Visitors use transportation terminals, shuttle routes and neighborhood guides to move among showrooms. The event is not a general-public furniture sale: Market registration and access are intended for qualified industry professionals.
The first day includes educational programming and showroom tours as attendees begin evaluating the products and trends expected to shape the coming retail seasons. The official schedule lists a keynote presentation exploring findings from a whole-home design study conducted with the National Kitchen & Bath Association. The programming addresses how consumer expectations and the work of designers and related trades are changing.
Saturday evening's Center Stage entertainment is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., with Circus EVO and the band Rhythm Arcade. Additional events continue throughout the five-day Market, including networking opportunities, product presentations and the Market-at-Market shopping experience. Andy Grammer is listed for Sunday evening entertainment, offering a separate attraction outside daytime buying appointments.
The event matters beyond the furnishings industry. Showroom activity brings temporary demand for hotel rooms, restaurants, transportation and services across the Triad. Downtown businesses also see visitors navigating the city's commercial core. The Market Authority provides park-and-ride and shuttle options to manage movement through a district that can be difficult for first-time attendees to navigate.
Visitors should consult the official Market schedule and transportation information because individual showroom hours, registration requirements and event capacity vary. The Market Authority lists the next spring event for April 10–14, 2027. For now, High Point's attention is on the October 17–21 gathering and the new products, business relationships and design ideas it brings to the region.
