Forsyth County Opens Registration for Oct. 9 Behavioral Health Symposium

Forsyth County Behavioral Health Services will host its second Behavioral Health Symposium on Friday, October 9, at Forsyth Technical Community College's Robert L. Strickland Conference Center.

The event is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. This year's theme is stigma.

Dr. Lawrence Yang of Duke University is scheduled to deliver the opening plenary. Organizers say the symposium will also include breakout sessions covering multiple areas of behavioral health, along with networking and resource-sharing opportunities.

Registration is required and space is limited. Forsyth County says registration will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 25.
