Fifth Third Plans Third Winston-Salem Branch as Triad Expansion Accelerates

Fifth Third Bank is continuing its expansion in the Piedmont Triad with plans for a third Winston-Salem branch.

The new location is planned for South Stratford Road and would span about 1,900 square feet, according to reporting from the Triad Business Journal. The branch is part of a larger regional strategy that calls for 10 Fifth Third locations across the Triad by 2028.

The latest plan adds to a growing physical banking presence in Winston-Salem and Greensboro as Fifth Third increases its footprint in North Carolina.
