Charlotte FC Carries Three-Game Atlanta Road Win Streak Into Saturday Rivalry Match

Charlotte FC heads south this weekend with a notable streak on the line in its rivalry with Atlanta United.

The Crown have won three consecutive matches in Atlanta dating to 2023, and Charlotte scored three goals in each of those victories. The run includes a 3-1 win in 2023, a 3-1 victory in 2024 and a 3-2 result in 2025.

The clubs have already met twice this season. Atlanta won their U.S. Open Cup meeting, while the more recent league matchup finished in a draw.

Saturday’s match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Charlotte will be trying to extend a road run that has become one of the defining trends in the Battle of the South series.
