Charlotte FC Acquires 2026 International Roster Slot From Austin FC for $155,000 GAM

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte FC added roster flexibility by acquiring a 2026 international roster slot from Austin FC.

The Crown will send Austin $155,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money in exchange for the slot, the clubs announced.

The transaction gives Charlotte an additional international roster slot for the 2026 season. The club did not announce a corresponding player move with the deal.

The move follows another roster transaction in which Charlotte acquired $350,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money from St. Louis CITY SC in exchange for Damion Downs’ Discovery Priority.
