Charlotte FC Opens Three-Match Road Trip Tonight at CF Montréal

MONTRÉAL — Charlotte FC begins a three-match road trip Wednesday night against CF Montréal at Stade Saputo, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Crown enters the match in strong form, going 6-1-3 over its last 10 league matches and taking 21 of a possible 30 points during that stretch. Charlotte will be without midfielder Ashley Westwood because of suspension, creating an opening for Brandt Bronico or Luca de la Torre alongside Pep Biel and Djibril Diani.

Goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina also enters the match after a five-save clean sheet against Houston. Charlotte FC says Kahlina has five shutouts this season and ranks third in MLS with 93 saves and a 74.4 save percentage.

Pep Biel has produced 10 goal contributions across eight of Charlotte’s last 10 league matches, while Liel Abada has eight goal contributions in all competitions since returning from the World Cup. The match streams on Apple TV.
