Charlotte FC’s Allan Saint-Maximin Earns MLS Team of the Matchday Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Allan Saint-Maximin’s two-assist performance in Charlotte FC’s latest rivalry win has earned the winger league-wide recognition.

Major League Soccer named Saint-Maximin to its Team of the Matchday for Matchday 23 after he helped create both goals in Charlotte’s 2-0 victory at Atlanta United. The result gave the Crown a fourth consecutive road win in the rivalry.

Saint-Maximin helped unlock the opening goal with a creative pass in the buildup that ultimately produced Idan Toklomati’s finish. He later added another assist as Charlotte controlled the road match and extended its strong run of form.

The honor gives Charlotte FC another fan-service highlight coming out of the Atlanta victory as the club turns its attention back to Bank of America Stadium and its next MLS match.
