Mountaineer Talk Returns Sept. 1 With New Tuesday Night Slot

App State's weekly Mountaineer Talk radio show will return Tuesday, Sept. 1, ahead of the Mountaineers' Sept. 5 football opener against Maine.

The show has a new weekly time for 2026-27, airing Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. from Rivers Street Ale House in Boone. Host Adam Witten will be joined by football coach Dowell Loggains and Mountaineer student-athletes.

Fans can attend in person, listen on App State Sports Network affiliates or online, and watch live video through App State Football's Facebook page and the athletics department's YouTube channel. Replays will also be available through the Nothin' But An App State Podcast.

The current affiliate list includes Triad outlets, with WSJS carrying Mountaineer Talk and other area stations carrying App State game broadcasts.
