App State Releases 2026 Football Fan Guide Ahead of Sold-Out Maine Opener

BOONE, N.C. — With a sold-out season opener against Maine set for Saturday, App State has released its 2026 A-to-Z football fan guide with updated information for game days at Kidd Brewer Stadium.

Among the key reminders, non-premium tickets are mobile and fans are encouraged to download them to a phone wallet before arriving. Screenshots, emails and texted ticket images will not work for transfers. Stadium gates generally open two hours before kickoff, and fans who leave after entering will not be allowed to re-enter.

Kidd Brewer Stadium's clear-bag policy allows clear plastic bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches and small clutch purses up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches. One unopened standard-size bottle of water is permitted, but other outside food and beverages are not.

For the Sept. 5 opener, Yosef Club parking lots are scheduled to open at 8 a.m. Free parking is available on a first-come basis at the Levine College of Health Sciences, with AppalCART service to campus. The Mountaineer Walk for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff is scheduled for 12:50 p.m.

App State has also added roughly 2,000 temporary seats in the North End Zone for 2026, along with new digital concession menu boards and an upgraded videoboard graphics package. Fans can report game-day issues by texting APPSTATETIP, their location and the issue to 67283.

The new Yosef's Yard Party fan zone opens three hours before Saturday home games and closes 15 minutes before kickoff, offering free admission, music, games, appearances and family activities.
