Wake Forest Adds Slovenian Standout Lukas Bojovic to 2026-27 Basketball Roster

Wake Forest men’s basketball has added another international piece to its 2026-27 roster, bringing in 6-foot-6 Slovenian guard Lukas Bojovic after two seasons with Partizan Belgrade.

The 18-year-old is coming off a productive 2025-26 season with Partizan’s U19 team, averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game while shooting 54.7 percent from the field. Wake Forest also noted Bojovic’s extensive experience in the Slovenian National Team program and European junior competition.

Head coach Steve Forbes said Bojovic adds size, skill and shooting to the perimeter. He joins a reshaped Demon Deacon roster preparing for a nonconference schedule that begins Nov. 2 at home against Maryland Eastern Shore.

The schedule also carries a Triad connection beyond Winston-Salem: Wake Forest is set to face West Virginia on Dec. 19 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro.
