Wake Forest Athletics and TTN: A Partnership Rooted In Winston-Salem

Few partnerships feel more at home.

Wake Forest and WSJS have each spent generations becoming part of the fabric of Winston-Salem. WSJS first signed on in 1930 and has served the city and the greater Triad for more than nine decades. Wake Forest brought its main campus to Winston-Salem in the 1950s, beginning a relationship with the city that continues to shape the community today.

Together, those histories represent a shared connection to the place we call home.

Wake Forest is also part of the foundation of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The university was one of the ACC’s seven charter members when the league was established in North Carolina in 1953. More than seven decades later, the Demon Deacons remain an important part of one of college athletics’ most recognizable conferences.

That heritage has been built across generations of unforgettable athletes, coaches and championship teams. Wake Forest Athletics has earned 59 ACC team championships and 10 NCAA team titles, establishing a tradition of success that extends across its programs.
