Twin City Thunderbirds’ 2026-27 Home Calendar Takes Shape

Twin City Thunderbirds fans can begin mapping out part of the 2026-27 season, with the team’s official calendar now listing a series of home dates in Winston-Salem for December and January.

The current calendar includes a Dec. 6 home date against the Pee Dee IceCats, back-to-back home games against the Columbus River Dragons on Dec. 12 and 13, and another visit from Pee Dee on Dec. 20.

The Thunderbirds are also scheduled to host Blue Ridge on Dec. 31 and again Jan. 2-3, followed by a Jan. 9-10 home set against Binghamton. Additional dates are listed throughout the team calendar as the 2026-27 FPHL season takes shape.

The schedule outlook comes as Twin City prepares for its 10th season and a new chapter under head coach Jon Buttitta, the longtime Thunderbirds captain who is moving behind the bench for the upcoming campaign.
