HPU Men’s Basketball Reloads Roster as 2026-27 Home Slate Takes Shape

High Point University men’s basketball is taking shape for the 2026-27 season, with a retooled roster and multiple notable home games already confirmed for Qubein Center.

The Panthers’ current roster includes experienced transfers Curtis Williams Jr. from Tulane, Jason Rivera Torres from Monmouth, Frankquon Shermon from Kennesaw State and CJ Brown from South Florida, along with returning forward Caden Miller and a mix of other newcomers and returners.

HPU, coming off a 2026 Big South championship, has already announced two significant nonconference home dates. Washington State is scheduled to visit High Point on Nov. 7 during Homecoming Weekend, and George Mason comes to Qubein Center on Dec. 2 for the first meeting between the programs.

Season tickets for the upcoming men’s basketball season are on sale, while HPU says the complete 2026-27 schedule will be released later. The developing roster and home schedule give Panther fans several storylines to follow as the program prepares for another season under head coach Flynn Clayman.
